أصدرت الهيئة العامة للإحصاء نشرة إحصاءات مؤشرات الأعمال قصيرة المدى لشهر مايو 2026، حيث سجّل الرقم القياسي للإيرادات التشغيلية ارتفاعًا نسبته 11.4% خلال الشهر نفسه مقارنةً بمايو 2025، مدعومًا بنمو عدد من الأنشطة الاقتصادية من أبرزها نشاط التعدين واستغلال المحاجر الذي سجّل ارتفاعًا بنسبة 38.7%، ونشاط الصناعة التحويلية الذي ارتفع بنسبة 9.6%، إضافةً إلى ارتفاع نشاط تجارة الجملة والتجزئة وإصلاح المركبات بنسبة 3.6%، وارتفاع نشاط التشييد والأنشطة المالية وأنشطة التأمين بنسبة 2.5% و12.9%.
وعلى أساس شهري، فقد سجّل مؤشر الرقم القياسي للإيرادات التشغيلية ارتفاعًا نسبته 2.9% مقارنةً بشهر أبريل 2026، مدعومًا بارتفاع نشاط الصناعة التحويلية بنسبة 0.6%، وارتفاع نشاط التعدين واستغلال المحاجر بنسبة 10.2%، وارتفاع نشاط تجارة الجملة والتجزئة وإصلاح المركبات بنسبة 1.3%، إضافةً إلى ارتفاع الأنشطة المالية وأنشطة التأمين بنسبة 1.1%، وارتفاع أنشطة المعلومات والاتصالات بنسبة 1.9%.
كما شهدت رخص البناء الصادرة خلال شهر مايو 2026 انخفاضًا سنويًا بنسبة 33.3% ليصل عددها إلى 5,056 رخصة مقارنةً بـ 7,584 رخصة في مايو 2025، فيما سجّلت انخفاضًا شهريًا بنسبة 25.7% مقارنةً بشهر أبريل 2026 الذي بلغ عدد الرخص الصادرة فيه 6,803 رخص.
يُذكر أن منتج إحصاءات الأعمال قصيرة المدى من المنتجات الإحصائية الاقتصادية التي تهدف إلى قياس أداء قطاعات الاقتصاد المختلفة على المدى القصير من خلال مؤشرات شهرية ترصد التطورات ومعدلات النمو لكل نشاط، ويستهدف جميع الأنشطة الاقتصادية في المنشآت العاملة في قطاع الأعمال بالمملكة.
The General Authority for Statistics issued the Short-Term Business Indicators Statistics Bulletin for May 2026, where the index of operating revenues recorded an increase of 11.4% during the same month compared to May 2025, supported by the growth of several economic activities, most notably the mining and quarrying sector, which recorded an increase of 38.7%, and the manufacturing sector, which rose by 9.6%. Additionally, the wholesale and retail trade and vehicle repair activities increased by 3.6%, while construction activities, financial activities, and insurance activities rose by 2.5% and 12.9% respectively.
On a monthly basis, the index of operating revenues recorded an increase of 2.9% compared to April 2026, supported by a 0.6% rise in manufacturing activities, a 10.2% increase in mining and quarrying activities, and a 1.3% increase in wholesale and retail trade and vehicle repair activities, in addition to a 1.1% rise in financial activities and insurance activities, and a 1.9% increase in information and communication activities.
Building permits issued during May 2026 also saw an annual decline of 33.3%, bringing the total to 5,056 permits compared to 7,584 permits in May 2025, while recording a monthly decline of 25.7% compared to April 2026, which had a total of 6,803 permits issued.
It is worth mentioning that the Short-Term Business Statistics product is one of the economic statistical products aimed at measuring the performance of various sectors of the economy in the short term through monthly indicators that monitor developments and growth rates for each activity, targeting all economic activities in establishments operating in the business sector in the Kingdom.
