كشفت الهيئة العامة للإحصاء أن إجمالي كميات الشحن الصادرة والواردة عبر موانئ المملكة تجاوز 341 مليون طن خلال عام 2025، مدفوعاً بارتفاع الصادرات والواردات مقارنة بعام 2024.
وأوضحت الهيئة، في نشرة إحصاءات النقل البحري لعام 2025، أن كمية الشحن الصادرة بلغت 227.2 مليون طن، بارتفاع نسبته 2.1% مقارنة بالعام السابق، فيما بلغت كمية الشحن الواردة 114.3 مليون طن، مسجلة زيادة بنسبة 5%.
وتصدر ميناء الملك فهد الصناعي في ينبع الموانئ من حيث الصادرات، مستحوذاً على 50.7% من إجمالي الصادرات، بواقع 115.2 مليون طن، فيما جاء ميناء الملك عبدالعزيز في الدمام في صدارة الموانئ المستقبلة للبضائع الواردة، بإجمالي 39.2 مليون طن، تمثل نحو 34.3% من إجمالي الواردات.
وبلغ إجمالي البضائع المناولة في موانئ المملكة خلال العام أكثر من 298 مليون طن، واستحوذ ميناء الملك فهد الصناعي في ينبع على 33% منها من حيث الوزن، بينما تصدر ميناء جدة الإسلامي مناولة الحاويات القياسية بنسبة 47.3%.
وأظهرت البيانات أن البضائع السائبة السائلة جاءت في صدارة أنواع البضائع المناولة بأكثر من 144 مليون طن، تلتها الحاويات بنحو 84.9 مليون طن، ثم البضائع السائبة الصلبة بأكثر من 52.4 مليون طن.
وفي ما يتعلق ببضائع المسافنة، تجاوز إجمالي الكميات المتداولة في موانئ المملكة 97 مليون طن، منها 84.1 مليون طن بضائع محملة، و13.1 مليون طن بضائع مفرغة، فيما تجاوز إجمالي الحاويات القياسية المتداولة ضمن عمليات المسافنة مليوني حاوية قياسية.
وسجلت الموانئ السعودية وصول 7,848 سفينة خلال عام 2025، وتصدر ميناء جدة الإسلامي حركة السفن القادمة بـ2,677 سفينة، يليه ميناء الجبيل التجاري بـ1,256 سفينة، ثم ميناء الملك عبدالعزيز في الدمام بـ1,030 سفينة، وميناء نيوم بـ828 سفينة.
كما ارتفع إجمالي عدد الحاويات الصادرة والواردة بنسبة 52.9% مقارنة بعام 2024، ليبلغ 3.894 مليون حاوية، منها 1.940 مليون حاوية صادرة، و1.954 مليون حاوية واردة.
وبلغ الوزن الإجمالي للبضائع المفرغة والمحملة في موانئ المملكة أكثر من 210.6 مليون طن خلال 2025، بانخفاض نسبته 37% عن عام 2024، منها 99.3 مليون طن بضائع مفرغة، و111.3 مليون طن بضائع محملة.
وفي حركة الركاب، سجلت موانئ المملكة نحو 1.1 مليون راكب قادم ومغادر خلال العام، بارتفاع نسبته 20.1% مقارنة بعام 2024، وتصدر ميناء جازان بأكثر من 489.6 ألف راكب، يليه ميناء جدة الإسلامي بنحو 413.8 ألف راكب، ثم ميناء نيوم بأكثر من 187 ألف راكب. وبلغ عدد ركاب الرحلات السياحية البحرية «الكروز» 174.5 ألف راكب.
وأشارت النشرة إلى أن الطاقة الاستيعابية لموانئ المملكة بلغت 686.2 مليون طن خلال عام 2025.
The General Authority for Statistics revealed that the total quantities of cargo exported and imported through the Kingdom’s ports exceeded 341 million tons during the year 2025, driven by an increase in exports and imports compared to 2024.
The Authority explained in the Marine Transport Statistics Bulletin for 2025 that the quantity of exported cargo reached 227.2 million tons, an increase of 2.1% compared to the previous year, while the quantity of imported cargo amounted to 114.3 million tons, recording an increase of 5%.
The King Fahd Industrial Port in Yanbu led the ports in terms of exports, accounting for 50.7% of total exports, with a volume of 115.2 million tons, while King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam topped the ports receiving incoming goods, with a total of 39.2 million tons, representing about 34.3% of total imports.
The total cargo handled in the Kingdom’s ports during the year exceeded 298 million tons, with the King Fahd Industrial Port in Yanbu accounting for 33% of this by weight, while Jeddah Islamic Port led in handling standard containers with a rate of 47.3%.
The data showed that liquid bulk cargo topped the types of handled goods with more than 144 million tons, followed by containers with about 84.9 million tons, and then solid bulk cargo with more than 52.4 million tons.
Regarding the transshipment cargo, the total quantities traded in the Kingdom’s ports exceeded 97 million tons, including 84.1 million tons of loaded goods and 13.1 million tons of unloaded goods, while the total standard containers traded within transshipment operations surpassed two million standard containers.
Saudi ports recorded the arrival of 7,848 ships during the year 2025, with Jeddah Islamic Port leading the incoming ship traffic with 2,677 ships, followed by Jubail Commercial Port with 1,256 ships, then King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam with 1,030 ships, and Neom Port with 828 ships.
The total number of exported and imported containers increased by 52.9% compared to 2024, reaching 3.894 million containers, of which 1.940 million were exported and 1.954 million were imported.
The total weight of unloaded and loaded goods in the Kingdom’s ports exceeded 210.6 million tons during 2025, a decrease of 37% compared to 2024, including 99.3 million tons of unloaded goods and 111.3 million tons of loaded goods.
In passenger movement, the Kingdom’s ports recorded about 1.1 million incoming and outgoing passengers during the year, an increase of 20.1% compared to 2024, with Jazan Port leading with more than 489.6 thousand passengers, followed by Jeddah Islamic Port with about 413.8 thousand passengers, then Neom Port with more than 187 thousand passengers. The number of passengers on cruise trips reached 174.5 thousand.
The bulletin indicated that the capacity of the Kingdom’s ports reached 686.2 million tons during the year 2025.
