• The continued demand for essential products and the growth of recent investment contributions are factors that supported the company’s performance.
Key results for the third quarter of 2026:
• Revenues reached 6.19 billion Saudi Riyals, an increase of 11% compared to 5.55 billion Saudi Riyals in the third quarter of 2025.
• Broad-based growth in sales across all markets, products, and channels, supported by expansion in the poultry sector and the contribution from the acquisition of a bottled water production company.
• Net profits remained stable overall, on a year-on-year basis, reaching 617.8 million Saudi Riyals, significantly affected by the increase in feed shipping, distribution, and energy costs, which reduced the impact of revenue growth.
Almarai Company, listed on the Saudi financial market (Tadawul) under the symbol 2280; the largest vertically integrated dairy company in the world and the largest food and beverage producer and distributor in the Middle East and North Africa, today announced its financial results for the third quarter of 2026, reflecting strong and stable demand for essential products and discipline in execution and operations.
Revenues reached 6.19 billion Saudi Riyals during the third quarter, an increase of 11% compared to 5.55 billion Saudi Riyals in the third quarter of 2025. Total revenues during the first nine months of 2026 increased by 10% to 18.22 billion Saudi Riyals, compared to 16.61 billion Saudi Riyals during the same period in 2025. Net profit for the third quarter of the current year was 617.8 million Saudi Riyals, up 1% compared to 613.2 million Saudi Riyals in the third quarter of 2025, due to an improved revenue mix that was offset by rising feed shipping and distribution costs due to increased energy prices. During the first nine months of 2026, net profit remained generally stable at 1.99 billion Saudi Riyals compared to the same period in 2025.
Revenue growth was broad-based across all markets, products, and sales channels. This performance was supported by increased poultry sales volumes due to recent expansions in production capacity, growth in dairy sales in Egypt, in addition to the contribution from the acquisition of a bottled water production company.
In light of these factors, Almarai continued to benefit from sustained demand across key markets and increased operational capacity due to its recent investments in production capacity. The company’s market leadership, cost control initiatives, and operational improvements also contributed to supporting performance amid ongoing external cost pressures.
On this occasion, Almarai’s CEO, Mr. Fawaz Aljasir, stated: “Almarai achieved broad-based revenue growth during the third quarter of 2026, supported by the strength of our brands, continued demand for our essential products, and discipline in executing our operational processes. The investments made over recent years have significantly contributed to supporting growth and enhancing our ability to serve consumers across our various markets.”
Sector Performance in the Third Quarter
The dairy and juice sector benefited from sustained demand levels and an improved revenue mix, while innovation and product portfolio development enabled the company to respond effectively to changing consumer requirements.
The bakery sector also achieved improved performance, supported by a strong sales mix, product innovation, and discipline in cost management. The company continued to develop products and seize selective growth opportunities within this sector.
As for the poultry, seafood, and meat sector during the third quarter, it recorded lower net profits in the current quarter compared to the same quarter of the previous year due to supply conditions in the poultry sector and increased distribution costs resulting from rising energy prices and operational cost increases.
During the quarter, Almarai continued to enhance its operational and financial capabilities, receiving recognition for its digital transformation initiatives at the “LEAP 2026” conference, and winning the “Islamic Exporter of the Year 2026” and “Best Instrument in the Food and Beverage Sector” awards at the “The Asset Triple A Islamic Finance Awards 2026.”
Outlook
Almarai expresses confidence in the strength of its core business, supported by its trusted brands, its leading position in the markets, its integrated manufacturing capabilities, and its extensive manufacturing and distribution network, while continuing to focus on discipline in execution and achieving sustainable profitability and growth.
